Sweet & Spicy Loaded Rosemary Fries
Rosemary Fries drizzled with sweet and spicy rosemary syrup and creamy goat cheese dip create the perfect shareable snack.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Alexia® Crispy Rosemary Fries (16 oz)
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Water
- 2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, cut into small pieces, stems removed (1 tbsp spread, 1 tbsp garnish)
- 2 tsp Hot Sauce
- Kosher Salt
- ½ cup Goat Cheese
- 2 tbsp Milk or Heavy Cream
- ¼ cup Dried Cranberries
- ¼ cup Toasted Walnuts, cut into small pieces
- Fresh Rosemary, cut into small pieces, stems removed
Directions
-
Prepare Alexia® Rosemary Fries according to package instructions.
-
While fries are being prepared, make syrup and mixed goat cheese. In a small pot over medium heat, whisk together sugar, water, hot sauce & kosher salt. Cook this mixture for about 5 minutes or until it thickens and looks more like a syrup. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
In a small mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and heavy cream, mixing together with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
-
Remove fries and place in a large mixing bowl. Toss with dried cranberries and toasted walnut pieces.
-
Drizzle Rosemary Syrup for a light coating on fries. Set aside remaining syrup for dipping.
-
Place on a large serving platter, garnish with additional fresh rosemary, and finish with a dollop of goat cheese in the center. Serve with remaining syrup on the side and let the snacking begin!
