Give Your Seasoning an Update — The difference between regular table salt and pepper verses flaked sea salt and fresh ground pepper can be seen and tasted in a dish immediately. The switch is a surefire easy flavor enhancer that takes everyday dishes to the next level.

Use and Safely Store Fresh Herbs — Buying fresh herbs in bulk and drying them on your own in the microwave ensures you’ll have herbs on hand for quick and easy meal prep. Simply wrap the herbs in a paper towel, heat on high for 1-2 minutes until herbs are dry and brittle, and then crush and store them in Ziploc bags or canning jar.

Stay Organized to Save Time — While it may seem obvious, remembering to pre-heat the oven, chop your vegetables in advance and have all your ingredients in front of you before cooking will save lots of time in the long run.

One-Pan Cooking — Speed up clean-up time by sticking to a one-pan meal. When cooking a chicken or roast in the oven, simply pour a bag of Alexia Oven Reds into the pan halfway through cook time, along with any other of your favorite vegetables. The Alexia potatoes and veggies will absorb the meaty flavor and cook in no time.

Gourmet-Inspired Meal In 20 Minutes — Alexia makes it possible to whip up a gourmet-inspired meal in just 20 minutes. Pop Alexia Sweet Potato Fries in the oven with broccoli or other fresh vegetables, lightly seasoned and drizzled with olive oil. Serve alongside a rotisserie chicken from the market for a delicious and quick meal.

Cutting Board Help — To ease meal prep and keep your cutting board from sliding around, while you cut vegetables or slice meat, simply place a wet paper towel underneath the board prior to use.

Alexia Artisan Breads Tip — We love starting weekends off with a fun breakfast with our kids. One of my favorite dishes to make is good old fashioned biscuits with sausage gravy. But between sports, trips and family activities, we don’t always have time to make biscuits from scratch on the weekends. Alexia’s all-natural biscuits are the perfect time-saver! I can pop them in the oven while I make the gravy and get a fabulous family breakfast on the table in half the time.

Dip Tips — Get creative with edible bowls. Make a dip bowl out of a scooped out bell pepper, a head of cabbage, a mini pumpkin or any suitable veggie that complements the season.
Keep dairy-based dips chill and delish. Find two bowls that are a few inches apart in size. Fill the larger bowl with ice, and use it to cradle the smaller bowl filled with dip.

Entertaining Tip — We love to celebrate New Year’s Eve with our friends and family. Our tradition is to order in a bunch of fresh dungeness crab from the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco and have a crab and champagne feast. One of our favorite tricks when hosting big parties is to offer a late night surprise snack, like small cups of soup with a little grilled cheese sandwich or pigs in the blanket and Alexia Sweet Potato Puffs. They’re always a huge crowd pleaser and a welcome surprise to our guests.

Meal Prep Tip — When cooking with an onion with a recipe that doesn’t call for an entire onion, try cutting off what you need to use from the top stem area and peel only that part away. Leave the skin and the root attached to the portion you’re not planning to use, and store in a plastic bag or glass container. The root and skin will keep your onion from drying out and allow you to save the onion for up to a week in your refrigerator.
